Tiger is my 1st custom made guitar, a Freeman Cutaway OM (by Edward Hiew). I've always wanted a custom guitar tailored according to my specs and creation from local artist. Before the custom project I was still using Yamaha LJX6C.

Tiger was built according to my playing style. Fitted to my physical size and the most interesting part is I personally ordered the woods from overseas. The top wood is Adirondack Spruce from US while the back and side are Highly flamed figured Queensland Walnut from Australia.
Edward, the luthier and myself designed the shape and outlook of Tiger. Our most creative design is the bridge design which both of us had been debating which to use. Eventually we combined the design become what we call "piranik" bridge.
Piranik = Piramid + Baranik

I was involved with buffering the finish and some sanding process. I also help installing the pickup (K&K transducer) which I specially ordered from US. It was really interesting while looking at the growth of the guitar. From a few pieces of plank to a beautiful guitar, Tiger. Tiger is a unique creation, especially the sound. The blending of Adirondack Spruce and Queensland Walnut outcome a solid & tight but yet not booming sounding guitar. The separation and balance of Tiger are awesome.

Tiger's voice and tone really helps me on writing more composition. It's so unique that created lots of touching melody for my songs.

I brought Tiger along to meet Tommy Emmanuel during his concert in Singapore. It was a long queue yet it's worth the wait as I finally get to meet the Tommy. I even got Tommy to autographed on the soundboard of Tiger. Tommy, himself like Tiger!!
