Objective: Gather acoustic guitar enthusiasts from all around the region.

Target Members: Amateur to Professional Guitarist

During my participation in MIGFEST, Malaysia International Guitar Festival, I met load of good guitar players. To my surprise most of them are on his or her own and living in their little ring. I was thinking to myself how great it would be to gather all of them under one roof, discussing & sharing thoughts from one another as each of them have their very own unique style of playing.

1^st ACPickers gathering was held in June 2008. Personally I was not able to attend. Mr. Az Samad is our member’s official guest on that day. It was a small gathering of four somewhere near Sunway area. All of those who attended were glad & very satisfied with the gathering.

It's a composition I wrote recently.
I was exposed to a lot of wedding events and wedding items to fulfill a wedding dream. A lot of tunes was running in my mind about a journey which a newly wedded couple is going to take. Enjoy!!

Guitar Charity Night "acoustic" 2008

The 1st Guitar Charity Night in Malacca was held on November 22, 2008. Music Element and City Music Melaka organized this event with the main objective to raise fund for a handicapped house in Malacca. Introducing the fingerstyles guitar music in Malacca comes in as our second objective. Basically you can say to attract more music enthusiast into acoustic guitar music.

I was fortunate enough to invite some of the top acoustic guitarists in the country to perform here, especially Mr. Roger Wang all the way from Sabah and other award winning guitarist and musician to perform in this very meaningful charity event.

Tiger

Tiger is my 1st custom made guitar, a Freeman Cutaway OM (by Edward Hiew). I've always wanted a custom guitar tailored according to my specs and creation from local artist. Before the custom project I was still using Yamaha LJX6C.

Well... taking the 1st step into learning guitar didn't really interest me much. I was asked to join guitar lesson for a church fund raising in Malacca. I was already in my prime age, Form 5 when i started learning about guitar strumming. Other than strumming I didn't know much with my guitar.

Before my fencing lesson started, I was looking at Prof. Ronnie I. Theseira teaching his guitar student. I was quiet for a moment and was wondering. That is a totally different way of playing on guitar. I, then learn that was classical guitar and immediately I requested, "Prof., can I take up guitar lesson from you?"
